About the Role We’re currently seeking experienced Painters & Blasters to support structural integrity, project work, shutdowns and general maintenance across fixed plant assets in the Pilbara region. In this role, you’ll be responsible for surface preparation and finishing, including sandblasting, cleaning, and applying protective coatings or paint to a variety of structures.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role, preferably within the mining, industrial, or commercial sectors

Key Responsibilities
Clean surfaces thoroughly before and after surface preparation, ensuring compliance with specifications.
Mix paints accurately according to instructions, preparing required colours by combining pigments, oils, thinners, and drying agents.
Use a variety of hand tools including paint brushes, rollers, sanding blocks, wallpaper cutters, trimming knives, fillers, and spatulas.
Apply protective coatings using brush, roller, or spray equipment, ensuring proper coverage and adhesion.
Apply paint to surfaces using appropriate brush and roller techniques to minimise drips, runs, and brush marks, while maintaining clean, straight edges.
Inspect and verify all finished coatings upon completion to ensure quality and consistency.
Ensure all coatings comply with industry standards, customer requirements, and internal business system specifications.
